A checklist per loan product. Another per investor. Another per branch. Another a senior processor keeps in her head. The task framework replaces that with one list generated from the loan in front of you — and keeps it current as the loan changes.
How the list is built
The moment an application exists, eqLend generates the document and task list from loan-level detail: product, investor, occupancy, property type and borrower structure. It is not a master template that gets pruned down, which is why it does not carry items that never applied to this file.
The list is regenerated as the loan changes. A borrower structure change or an investor change updates the tasks, the eFolder documents expected, and the borrower’s needs list without anyone re-running anything.
Four moments where clarity matters
| Stage | What eqLend does |
|---|---|
| At application | Generates the document and task list from loan-level detail. |
| At disclosures | Triggers the complete picture: what is needed, who owns it, and when it is due. |
| As documents arrive | Classifies each document and ties it to the condition it satisfies; flags contradictions with the LOS. |
| On return from underwriting | Conditions arrive mapped to the documents and tasks that clear them, rather than as a block of text to decode and redistribute. |
Individual and team views
Tasks organise into My Tasks and Team Tasks, so a processor stays on top of their own work while a manager sees the full pipeline. The dashboard filters by team member, branch and task group to surface bottlenecks, with status and due-date overviews across the pipeline.
Notifications are multi-channel — email, SMS and push — so a party waiting on a document does not need to be chased by a human first.
Needs list
Borrower-facing needs list rules determine what is requested and when. This is as much a customer-experience decision as an operational one: asking too early burdens every applicant, asking too late breaks a closing date. Those rules are yours to set — see Rules, ownership and portability.
