Document intelligence

The application, the automated underwriting findings and the scorecard tell part of the story. The documents tell the rest. eqLend classifies every document as it arrives, extracts the data inside, and evaluates conditions against what the file actually contains.

Classification and bucketing

Each incoming document is classified and tied to the condition it satisfies. No dragging, no renaming, no manual association — the clerical layer of file assembly. Documents land in the eFolder associated correctly, which is what makes a predictable submission possible.

Mismatch detection

This is the capability lenders tend to value first. eqLend compares what the documents say against what the LOS says and surfaces the mismatch the moment the document arrives — a coverage amount below what the file requires, a value that contradicts the application.

The processor confirms the correct value and it writes through to the LOS in one step, without navigating screen by screen to find the field. The correction is the point: it fixes this loan, and it becomes a rule that catches the same problem earlier on every loan that follows.

Vendor-agnostic extraction

Extraction runs on industry-leading providers, and the architecture is deliberately vendor-agnostic: if a better or cheaper provider emerges, it can be swapped in without rebuilding a single rule. Your automation is never tied to one vendor’s technology.

This matters more than it first appears. Document extraction is a fast-moving, competitive market, and several providers in it are also building upward into workflow and conditions. A lender whose rules are welded to one extraction provider has bought both a technology dependency and a commercial one. Keeping the rules above the extraction layer means the provider can be replaced without touching the operating knowledge.

TODO(verify) Confirm the current list of supported extraction providers and what is required to add or swap one — configuration, or an engineering engagement. Do not name providers on public pages without approval.

What is supported

TODO(verify) Publish the supported document set. Competitors publish exhaustive, individually-indexed form directories, which is a meaningful SEO and evaluation asset. Even a categorised list — income, assets, property, identification, tax forms, mortgage-specific forms — would close a visible gap.
